The Awana Leader-Based Strategy builds on committed Christian leaders in each country. We train and equip these individuals to start Awana clubs which will be totally self-sustaining after the first year. Sponsorships are just $30 a month to start a new Awana club in another country.

Awana is a worldwide missions organization that depends on men and women in more than 100 countries to serve 17,000 local churches, train Awana leaders, and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ through the ministry of Awana. Each of these missionaries depends on faith support provided by churches and individuals on a monthly or annual basis. Support the Awana missionary in your area -- and an overseas missionary -- to double your giving impact!
Awana leaders in the U.S. and Canada can teach children about the importance of missions through Adopt-a-Club sponsorship. Choose the country you wish to sponsor. You’ll receive regular updates throughout the year on the impact your club is making. Sponsors can be Awana clubs, individuals, or families. Sponsor gifts of $20 or more per month are multiplied to reach hundreds of children through the ministry of Awana.

Named in honor of Awana Co-Founder Art Rorheim and his wife, Winnie, the Rorheim Legacy Fund assists evangelism and discipleship of children and youth internationally, where needed most.
Organize a missions team from your church to assist Awana overseas on a one or two-week Vision Team. Awana missionaries in the U.S. often plan trips that you can join.
Incarceration is a generational dilemma not easily broken. Children of inmates are seven times more likely than their peers to end up in prison. Awana, Louisiana State Penitentiary and other U.S. prisons are partnering to break the cycle of crime. The life-changing work of Christ is what’s needed to end this debilitating pattern.
