Franklin earns money for mission project

Report by Latin America Area Director, Randy Newburn

This little boy is named Franklin.  He is a Llama (Flame) from the Batán Alliance church in Quito.  He is about 9.  His church as a missions project asked that each member contribute $1.00 per month to help send missionaries out. He helped watch cars on the street near a bank as security earning a few cents for each car, to be  able to give his dollar to the mission project, and fulfill the Awana missions assignment. This may seem like a little thing, but children often work watching cars while people go to the bank so that people don't break in an steal radios etc. This is a real indication of how he Loves his God and how he is responding to God's voice.
