Taking Awana back to Village
Leader excited to bring Gospel home
"My name is Majur Faith. I have been married to my wife Ririani for two years and God has blessed us with one child Frenk (age 2). We live in the town of Dar Es Salaam, capital Kitunda. There are three churches but not many activities for children
I have learned much from the Seed Planters Training that I just received. I was able to study God's word and understand how important children are. I’ve also been trained how to share the gospel. Now I have a clear vision for spreading God’s word to children and families in our village. The practical experience of learning the game time and how to teach a bible lesson was very good for me. As I go back to my church, my desire is to teach what I have learned to others so that together we can build God’s kingdom.
We have about 40 children in the surrounding areas that can be reached through the Awana ministry. I am excited to go door to door with our pastor inviting many of these children to come to Awana where they can have fun learning about Jesus.
Please pray that as I go back to my village and church we will be able to get the leadership needed to start our club very soon. Pray that God will move in people’s hearts and give them the vision of reaching these precious children for his kingdom."
