Awana Missionaries to Alabama.
Hello, we are Bruce and Melanie Patrick. We were married in 1985 and have four children. Andrew our oldest was married in 2009 and lives in Lexington KY with his wife Jenn. Michael is a student at Troy State University and plans to graduate in May 2012, Daniel and Katie still live at home with us.
In 2001, we moved from Columbus, Ga to Wetumpka, Al to assume the role of Awana Missionaries to the DixieShores Territory. During the years we have been here in Alabama we have seen the ministry grow tremendously. In 2010, after the death of Earl Seiler we assumed the role of Missionaries for the state of Alabama.
As missionaries for Awana we are privileged to work with churches and leaders equipping them for their ministry of reaching boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and training them to serve Him. We have a wonderful ministry team that assists us in this goal.
Our Need
Our prayer is that all children and youth throughout Alabama would come to know, love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. With over 1.1 million children in the state, this prayer is much bigger than one couple. Therefore we are in need of people to partner with us to see this happen. Along with Ministry Team Members we need Ministry Partners to lift us up in prayer as well as give financially. Currently we are trying to raise $3000 a month in additional support to meet our needs. While any gift is appreciated we are looking for about 30 people to give about $100 per month to meet our goal of $3000. Please consider how God can use you to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and disciple them. It truly is an investment in eternity.
